For Prestwood’s longer established residents, a trip down memory lane.
For newer residents, an insight into how Prestwood developed from very rural and farming roots to how it looks today.
Prestwood Community Association is delighted that Mark Cunnane (Prestwood Archive) will present on ‘A Journey through Prestwood High Street’, illustrated by contemporary photographs.
Appropriately, we are meeting at Prestwood Methodist Church, one of Prestwood’s historic buidings which has hosted gatherings of local residents since it was opened in 1863.
Note on parking: there is space for 6-8 cars at the back of the church. We suggest that this be left for those with disabled permits. Free parking is available at the The CoOp car park just over the road.
