Walkers in Angling Spring Wood will come across new information boards at the three main entrances to Angling Spring Woods.

These are the result of a project led by Great Missenden Village Association (shout out in particular to Mike Wintgens), and with contributions by The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre (artwork), ALIGN JV (installation), and with financial support from Great Missenden Parish Council, the former Missendens Buckinghamshire Council Community Board and Prestwood Community Association (PCA).

Pictured above is the board at the entrance from the footpath down from Green Lane.

Informative, attractive and sturdy, these signs should enhance walkers’ appreciation of this lovely wood for years to come.

The project is a real example of how community groups and interests can come together to deliver projects for the benefit of community and residents.
