Prestwood Community Association (PCA) has joined the Buckinghamshire Lottery.

Buckinghamshire Lottery’s weekly draw offers a top prize of £25,000, for a £1 ticket cost. This isn’t the colossal sort of payout of National Lottery or Euromillions. But there is a significant difference in the local benefit your participation can create. 60p in every pound raised in the Buckinghamshire Lottery is paid out to ‘good causes’, of which 50p goes to your own nominated cause. In comparison, 25% of funds raised by the National Lottery is paid to good causes; for Euromillions, the figure is 28%.
Prestwood Community Association is a strictly non-profit organisation. We pursue a variety of funding routes. We intend that proceeds from the Buckinghamshire Lottery will cover our administration costs, which we plan to keep as low as possible. So additional proceeds from the Lottery will then be available within the village.
A single £1 ticket, included in every draw in a year, will make £25 available for the benefit of Prestwood.
We invite residents to visit https://www.buckinghamshirelottery.co.uk/support/prestwood-community-association and sign up. Unlike the National Lottery, tickets can’t be purchased just for one draw. So participation is through a monthly recurring plan, or 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of weekly tickets.
