Buckinghamshire Council’s consultation on reducing the speed limit on a stretch of the A4128 closes on Friday 26th September, at midnight.

If you would like your voice to be heard, then please visit the Your Voice Bucks page here: https://yourvoicebucks.citizenspace.com/roads-parking/a4128-wycombe-road-prestwood-speed-limit-reduction/

The stretch in question runs from the junction with Lodge Lane to the north, to just south of the junction between Peterley Lane and Perks Lane. The proposal is to reduce the limit from 40mph currently, to 30mph.

If you think that you participated in a consultation on this last year, this is a DIFFERENT stage in the process. The 2024 consultation by Great Missenden Parish Council was in order to prove there was sufficient local support to trigger action by Buckinghamshire Council. The current consultation is by Buckinghamshire Council, collecting views from residents. If feedback shows people support the proposal, Buckinghamshire Council will begin the process of formally reducing the speed limit
