New planters have been installed on Honor End Lane, at the entrance to Prestwood Gym and Fitness Centre.

The planters were sourced by Prestwood Community Association (PCA) from Align JV, and have been painted the same shade of blue as the planters on the corner of High St and Nairdwood Lane.

The planters have been taken on by the Prestwood Gym & Fitness Centre management, to add an attractive element to its entrance. They have been planted up based on the plant selection in the High St/Nairdwood Lane planters, originally advised and donated by Prestwood Nature.

One of PCA’s longer term intentions is to brighten up the gateways to the village. With the Prestwood road sign opposite the planters this also plays to this theme.

PCA has also given a fresh lick of paint and tidy up to the planting and surroundings of the planters at the junction of Prestwood High Street and Nairdwood Lane.
